Jennifer has 15 years of experience providing urban design, master planning and landscape architectural consulting services in the Puget Sound Region. Jennifer’s background in architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning gives her the skills to work as a collaborative team member to develop inspired, well-rounded and balanced projects. Her planning projects range from neighborhood visioning and pedestrian improvement to downtown revitalization and urban transit station plans. Roles include: facilitation of public meetings, project management, project design from conception through construction administration, development of reports and illustrative graphics. Jennifer specializes in the creation of outdoor learning environments for schools and daycare facilities that provide opportunities for children to experience and explore their relationship with nature. Her urban and landscape skills come together in the design of public parks projects where safety and views are considered in conjunction with aesthetics, sustainability and the realities of maintenance and irrigation regimes. Jennifer has experience documenting projects pursuing LEED and Washington Sustainable Schools Protocol programs.
