CDC responded to a tight budget by creating bold gestures in the landscape with simple materials. The design incorporated multiple uses for play areas within required circulation functions. Site Features include a circle of birch trees that defines pedestrian movement at the parent and bus drop-offs.

Phased construction required the design of temporary play spaces and phased installation of sports fields, irrigation and plantings.
