The primary focus of this project was to support both pedestrians and retail owners, CDC designed the area with a variety of plazas for pedestrians, narrower travel lanes for automobiles, angled parking, and wider sidewalks with a variety of art and landscape elements.

The project was funded through county, state and federal dollars as well as private business improvement funds.
