Port Madison Reservation Master Plan for the Suquamish Tribe,
Suquamish Tribe, WA
CDC worked closely with the Suquamish tribe on the Port Madison Indian Reservation to develop parcels and land uses while creating a more coherent and compelling community image through landscape and urban design. The existing street network will be improved resulting in increased connectivity and better safety for the community. Key features of the plan include a "Cultural Walk" starting at a planned pier, skirting the town of Suquamish and ending at Chief Sealth's grave. A new museum is proposed along the "Cultural Walk" that will offer sweeping views of Puget Sound.
