I-5 Colonnade Park,
Seattle, WA

The objective for this project was to create a dynamic design solution that opened up the space making it a viable pedestrian and ADA accessible connection between the Eastlake and Capital Hill neighborhoods. The 7.5 acre public space responds to the ideas of the city and community. Our design approach encourages use of CPTED principles and public art to develop a safe and enjoyable space.

Features of the park include a dog walk and programming for off-road mountain bike trails.

The park was featured in a recent CNN story about Green Urban Spaces in Unusual Places.
