Cottage Grove Park Improvements, Seattle, WA
The Seattle Parks Department hired CDC to design three adjoining parks under the Pro Parks levy program. The design for Cottage Grove features social spaces for all age groups including a meditation garden, playground, sand features and an expanded p-patch.

Low Impact Development principles have been used to minimize ecological impacts and save money. Raingardens and compost amended soils will facilitate groundwater infiltration and improve water quality.
