Cascade Design is excited to welcome two new team members, Forrest Jammer (Project Manager) and Blake Stefanson (Landscape Designer)!
With a 31-year career of working with landscapes, Forrest Jammer is driven by figuring out how to put things in the built world together. Forrest has worked on hardscape design and irrigation projects from the Puget Sound to Bend, Oregon on professional projects ranging from p-patches, community gardens, mixed use, and education work to commercial housing and military facilities.
Forrest is a self-described compost cheerleader and his interests in traditional and new technologies for irrigation water management as well as soil composition and how to improve it have led him to presenting at a number of events. He presented at the King County Solid Waste Organics Summit and at the Cedar Grove Soils Summit in 2019.
Forrest has maintained a curious and creative outlook on his career and personal interests. He is active in his community, serving as a board member of the Coal Creek YMCA and co-founding their community garden. He enjoys time with family, woodworking, and designing site furniture. Welcome Forrest!
Blake Stefanson is not exactly new at CDC, as he successfully served as our summer intern in 2018. He’s now returned as a Landscape Designer on the team. Blake brings expertise in drafting, graphics, and planting design, having worked on projects in Montana and the Pacific Northwest.
Interested in public speaking, team building, and communications, Blake enjoys working with groups where multiple minds come together to optimize the work at hand.
His love of the outdoors not only inspires the desire to create fun and enjoyable green spaces, but also allows him to enjoy his fly fishing, golf, and lacross activities with friends and family. Welcome back Blake!
We’re looking forward to working with these two new team members!
