Liz Browning will be a panel member in the session, “Speaking Her Voice: Women in Landscape Architecture,” at the 2019 Washington Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Conference on Friday, March 22, in Tacoma. The panel will examine the experience of women at different professional levels and explore what it takes to gain respect in the industry, balance expectations, and find (or redefine) success. Women from different professional levels will share their perspectives and a lively discussion is sure to follow of how women are redefining success by expanding the practice beyond the traditional role of landscape architects. Other participants in the session are Dorothy Faris of Mithun, Sarah Jacobs of the University of Washington, and Sandra Fisher of Fischer Bouma Partnership and Land Morphology.
