Renee Finney specializes in Irrigation, Auditing, and Landscape Design with a keen interest in sport field layout and design. She is currently a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor. Her focus is reducing water requirements to maximize sustainable design goals. Ms. Finney, also specializes in CAD and the production of construction documents for permit submittals, bids, and construction administration. She has been providing all of the irrigation plans for CDC for the past five years.
Her master planning experience includes the Pacific National Soccer Park. Ms. Finney was part of the design team for this master plan design of a 41-acre regional soccer complex for the Washington State Youth Soccer Association in Fife, WA. She has provided conceptual designs for the entry plazas and parking lot layout. Design components include synthetic turn and natural grass fields, field lighting, WSYSA state headquarters building, parking lot design and an emergency helicopter pad. The project is a partnership involving the City of Fife, Pierce County and WSYSA with funding from private and public sources.
Her sports field design experience includes centennial field underdrain where Ms. Finney was the project manager for the improvement of the drainage system, at Centennial Park. This project consisted of new field underdrains for 3 existing grass baseball fields. The new field drainage was designed to tie into the existing storm drain system. She has also developed similar Irrigation systems for rfootball, soccer, baseball, and softball fields (synthetic and natural grass).
